If you are a student enrolled in my Intro to American Popular Culture course for Spring, the Blackboard sites for my classes have been made available. There you should find the relevant materials for the first week of class, including syllabus and reading assignments.
If you are not yet enrolled, please do so as soon as you can, as seats filled up quickly last semester and not one student dropped in any of my 60-seat capacity sections! Be sure to get on the wait list to add so that you can avoid any first week hassles.
Hoping to enroll and don't have access to the Blackboard site yet? The syllabus will be handed out the first day of class, but if you'd like to get started on reading, you should find the articles for the first week's discussion posted here in the Articles section.
I check my work email frequently so please e-mail me with any questions:
sfalero@fullerton.edu
Thanks!

Well folks, it looks like I'm going to say goodbye to sunny southern California. I'm moving to Philadelphia in the summer of 2010 and will be looking for adjunct positions asap. If you hear anything about job openings in academic circles, clue me in!

To all my new students, welcome to my professional website. Most of our course materials are on the class Blackboard site, but I do occasionally post here. This is also where I would post if there were any problems on the campus server. Take a look around and let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks

Monday April 20th is the last day for students in my Pop Culture courses to turn in rough drafts of the Analytical Essay. Rough Drafts are not required, but if you didn't do as well as you had hoped on the Midterm, a rough draft is highly recommended. Be sure to get them in by 5pm. Send email submissions to my campus email address.
